EAO Series 19 Push Switch (Latching)
TECH TIPS:
1) In most cases all you need is the switch as LED's last a lifetime. The LED can be removed from the old switch with needle nose pliers or tweezers and inserted into the new switch.
2) The switch orientation for Red Range units is with the gold terminals vertical and the silver terminal horizontal.
3) The best way to install a LED into the switch is to first turn on the switch either by depressing the latch switch or engaging the momentary function -THEN remove the switch cap. This way when you insert the LED it will immediately light up when you have the correct orientation of the LED.
4) On Red 3's the switch nut should NOT be tightened against the front panel. The switch should be loose and can be pushed in from the front after the unit is assembled.
